NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Nashville announces a gift of $1,000 pledged by Kiehl’s in honor of the introduction of the Kiehl’s line at Dillard’s Cool Springs. To celebrate the introduction of Kiehl’s in the Dillard’s Cool Springs store, the President of Kiehl’s and the President of Dillard’s will be on hand to present the $1,000 check to RMHC of Nashville representatives on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at Dillard’s Cool Springs.
Dillard’s Cool Springs is one of only 18 of the 315 Dillard’s stores to carry the Kiehl’s line and the only Dillard’s store in Tennessee to receive the privilege. Dillard’s, Inc. ranks among the nation’s largest fashion apparel and home furnishings retailers with annual revenues exceeding $6.9 billion. The Company operates approximately 315 Dillard’s locations spanning 29 states, all with one nameplate – Dillard’s.
Kiehl’s, founded in 1851, is dedicated to serving customers with formulas made with uniquely efficacious, natural ingredients. The original Kiehl Pharmacy is in New York City; a historical, family-founded store located on “Pear Tree Corner” at 109 Third Avenue in the East Village.
RMHC of Nashville has a mission to “keep families close” by providing essential resources and a “home away from home” for families of critically ill children receiving inpatient or outpatient medical care at Nashville area hospitals. The programs of RMHC of Nashville include the 32 bedroom Ronald McDonald House which serves more than 500 families each year and the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital which serves more than 3,500 individuals each month. RMHC of Nashville is also the annual beneficiary of Dillard’s holiday sales promotions that resulted in an $18,000 donation in 2008.
