How can I stay at RMHC of Nashville?
Families must be referred by a social worker. A referral/request is not a reservation. RMHC of Nashville staff makes room assignments based on room availability, severity of diagnosis, and distance traveled.
How do I know if I have a room at RMHC of Nashville once I have a referral?
It is the responsibility of the prospective house guest to inquire about room availability by calling the Ronald McDonald House once a day
What is the cost to stay at RMHC of Nashville?
Cost is $15.00 per night, but no one is turned away due to their inability to pay. We accept cash, check or major credit cards.
What is in the room and available at RMHC of Nashville?
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville has 32 bedrooms, each with their own private bathrooms. Each room is supplied with linens and toiletry items. The House also includes two fully stocked kitchens, a laundry facility, 2 playrooms and a library, as well as 2 dining rooms, a living room and several common areas equipped with TVs & DVD players. Suites may be available for post-transplant outpatients and thier families.
How many people can stay in each room?
A maximum of 4 people are allowed in each room.
Are residents allowed visitors at RMHC of Nashville?
The visiting hours are between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. 7 days a week. Visitors are asked to sign in at the desk, wear a badge and be accompanied by a guest family member.
Does RMHC of Nashville provide transportation to and from area hospitals?
Families of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt will have access to a weekday shuttle. Check with the House Manager or Volunteers for the schedule. All other families of Nashville area hospitals are responsible for their own transportation.
Can a resident have mail sent to them at RMHC of Nashville?
Residents can receive their mail at the House while they are staying with us. Our address is 2144 Fairfax Avenue, Nashville, TN 37212.
